Ragland Memorial Baptist Church plans new Education Wing!
Ragland Memorial Baptist Church located at 2838 Sandy Hook Road
in Goochland, VA has authorized the commencement of design for their new Phase
1 Education Wing. The new 7500 square
foot facility will double the size of the church's seating capacity for fellowship
events. It will also include a new
Commercial Kitchen, new classrooms, an elevator and handicapped accessible
bathrooms and showers. Additional
parking and landscaping will complete the design. Future Phases will include a Sanctuary
Expansion and a Multi-purpose Outreach Center for Christian Education.

Good Shepherd Catholic Church Dedicates new Education Center!
Good Shepherd Catholic Church in South Hill, VA, dedicated its new Education Center after the 9:30 Mass this past Sunday, September 20, 2015.
The expansion/renovation project completed the Phase 3 portion of its Master Plan and included the renovation of the original Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall Wing, constructed when the church was first established at this site.
The renovated wing serves as classroom space with new accessible bathrooms for the church's Christian Education programs. Celebrants at the dedication service included the Vicar General from the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.
A pancake breakfast followed the ceremony in the church's Social Hall.

Three Chopt Presbyterian Church exceeds Campaign Goal!
Three Chopt Presbyterian Church celebrated a successful
Capital Campaign for it's expansion and renovation project on Sunday, August
30, 2015, following worship services.
Located at 9315 Three Chopt Road, the new $2,000,000 expansion and renovation project will provide a new Commons gathering space, a renovated Fellowship Hall and commercial kitchen, new Administrative offices, meeting spaces, and new handicapped bathrooms.

William Henry Harris & Associates has worked with the
church for more than a year on the project, meeting with the congregation and
the Capital Campaign Committee to design the exciting project that will mark
the church's 50th Anniversary since it was established at the Three Chopt
location.
Barclay Bradshaw, Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee,
unveils the "thermometer" indicating the pledged amount exceeding the
$1,000,000 goal. Groundbreaking for the
project is slated for early 2016.

Salem Baptist Church Raises Its Steeple!
Steeple Jacks raise the steeple at the new 26,000 square foot Worship Center for Goochland County's Salem Baptist Church.
The pre-fabricated fiberglass steeple adorns one of the largest SteelLite Building projects, illustrating the benefits of pre-engineered construction to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in construction cost.

Grace United Methodist Church Breaks Ground!
Historic Grace United Methodist Church, near Hartwood, Virginia broke ground for its first major expansion since 1949 in a celebration held at the church on Sunday, July 26th, 2015. Founded in 1885, the current church building replaced the original church in 1927.
The proposed new 5000 square foot multi-purpose facility will house church offices, classrooms and a fellowship hall with modern kitchen.
William Henry Harris & Associates, Inc. designed the new facility and the Dominion Construction Group of Warrenton is providing construction services for the $800,000.00 project.

Providence Baptist Church Breaks Ground!
In a ceremony on
Sunday, July 19, 2015, Providence Baptist Church in Hayes, VA broke ground for
their new Phase 1 Fellowship Center expansion. Architect William Henry Harris
& Associates joined JH Batten
General Contractors from Walkerton, North Carolina as a Design/Build
Team for the project.
Both firms are
members of the National Association of Church Design Builders - NACDB, an organization dedicated to providing
the highest caliber of service to the Mid -Atlantic Region and its
religious community.
The new Fellowship
Center will double the size of the church's seating capacity for fellowship
events. It will also include a new Commercial Kitchen and handicapped
accessible bathrooms and showers. A new entry Commons and covered drop-off will
enhance the access from the parking lot, and additional parking and landscaping
will complete the design.
Future Phases will
include a Multi-Purpose Outreach Center and additional classrooms for Christian
Education.
